No, it was decided that he wouldn't because he was so busy most of the
time, I believe. However, Jon Szeto and Steve Kenson were. :-)

(If you have no idea what we're talking about, rest assured that you don't
want to know, and that as Admin, I declare this thread dead now.)

Cool. More shee.. er, members for the flock :) For some reason I'm
reminded of the Simpson's episode when Homer joined the Stonecutters and
Mr. Burns was out ranked by Lenny. You out rank both Jon and Steve in
TCotSB (and Mike too if he'd been incubated :) Course, if and when I'm
ever incubated I'll be way down at the bottom of the heap :-\

Now, actually, a lot of very good writers have gotten their start
that way - if you never try something, you never get good at it. And I
think it's great for people who aren't 'official experts' to try their hands
at things...sometimes, an outside perspective is just what it takes.
However, a word of warning. Being able to create HTML doesn't make
you a competant web designer, any more than being able to use a word processor
makes you a competant writer. Being able to use the tools is one thing, knowing
what to do with them is another. The only reason I mention this is that you're
talking about doing this for money, so I thought it was only fair.
And no, I'm not an expert :) But I've had enough interface-design and
multimedia-design and publishing classes to know that expertise does exist,
and that it's not all common sense. Have fun, though, and make something you
like. Maybe you'll come up with something new and interesting. You'll probably
be at least as good as half the people out there right now making money
at it :)

haven't learned how. I do web design now for Mobil Oil. So I know how to do web
design. Not just how to use the toy's. :)
