April fools day is a big thing in every english speaking country!
(Hell, we invented it.... It probably goes back to medieval times or
before).

Yes...and if you had read the thread, you would have seen that I was
refering to the custom of ending pranks at noon...something that
doesn't happen in _my_ area of the US...but happens most everywhere
else, apparently.
