<P>Ladies and gentlemen... I'm afraid I've come upon this discussion a bit late.

<DIV></DIV>However, I would like to offer my most heartfelt condolences to all
of you who may have lost family or friends, or are stilll waiting for words of comfort on
your loved ones. I am waiting myself, and I understand exactly how you may feel at this
moment. If any of you find a way to return to your beds this evening, may you sleep as
soundly as your grief and anxiety allows.

<DIV></DIV>To those of you in the military, I wish you luck over the coming
months. Even if we don't go to war--a possibility I find frighteningly narrow--there will
be many people both at home and abroad who may need your help. Take care of yourselves.
You've sacrificed your time in duty to America, and I pray that your lives will not be
spent in that cause as well. You have my gratitude for your actions--even should this be
resolved peacefully--because when you signed on every one of you knew that there would be
a possibility of something like this, and you were brave enough to do so anyways. Thank
you all.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>To everyone who has neither friends, nor family, nor something many
would call a 'personal interest' in this tragedy, I envy you. Please take the time to
realize how lucky you are.
