Not to be a pain, but just wondering, did you not see the admin post about
putting your reply *****BELOW***** the text you're replying to?

Since the admin post/reminder I've counted 5 messages breaking the rule....

Please adhere to the rule, it's how some of us have mail filters setup to
sort or even allow things through, myself for one.

As far as I knew I was doing that, unless Gmail is re-adding text
where I don't want it to be. Lets see if this comes through correctly
or not. I apologise if its not correct. I will work on getting it
fixed.

Is there any way for forcing Outlook Express to put new text at the bottom?

Aside from that, ctrl-end after clicking "reply" is the only way I
know of.

Perhaps using the END key before you type.

Somewhere under a menu item called Tools, Preferencese, or Options
(not sure exactly as I use and strongly recommend Thunderbird, or
webmail when travelling) you will find a section on composing
messages. There is an option to place replies above or below
original text.

And then, of course, there are all the suggestions already posted,
such as simply jumping to the end of the original text before you
start typing a reply. *grin*

Hitting Ctrl+End before you start typing? :)
