And how did the Game feel about this? ::laughs and decides that'll be a hit or miss kind
of comment:: Solly if the joke's too obscure or way too el stinko...it's like 4 in the
morning and I have no idea why I'm even up! Do have a slightly OT question though...how do
I get an idea to the bigwigs, cause this is something I'd really like to see and I could
see myself plunking down the money for this. I wanna see a SR game done up like the
Baldur's Gate games. Same guys even if possible. I think they could do the gaming system a
lot of justice. The old Sega game was okay, but WAY limited on character choices. Joshua
the Human Street Sam, Joshua the Human Street Shaman, or Joshua the Human Decker. ::yawns
and not just from being sleepy either:: Okay, that's enough babble for one session. If
anybody knows how to pass that idea on please do or tell me how. Another idea is I'd like
to see some kind of CD Rom supplement, like possibly the 3rd ed handbook in CD format or
maybe a charact!
er generator or something like t
hat. Just a thought...

Hey now, I've cornered the market on obscure wrestling references on RN.

Microsoft owns the rights to make PC/Electronic games for Shadowrun.
They've turned down the chance to sub-license the property to other
companies, so I assume they're still interested in doing something in the
future.

info@************.com would be Rob Boyle's address; suggestions like that
should be passed to him.

MS owns Shadowrun too? I thought they just owned Battletech(Mechwarrior)
and Crimson Skies.
I thought when FanPro got the SR license, they got everything included. If
this is true maybe we might se something on the X-Box... (Hmmm DVD-ROM,
Modem, GeForce 3 Graphics, Possibilities abound.)

Microsoft owns the rights to make ***PC/Electronic*** games for Shadowrun.

Please note the extra emphasis. :)

Lock stock and barrel. (AFAIK)

>I thought when FanPro got the SR license, they got everything included.

FanPro has the rights to publish Shadowrun books and promotional materials.
WizKidsGames LLC owns the Shadowrun property.

Well, FASA Interactive was set up as FASA's computer/digital arm, a
separate company owned by the same owners as FASA, with all the rights to
computer applications of FASA's titles. Then the owners later sold FIT to
Microsoft, a cash injection which allowed FASA to pay off a lot of its
debts (at the time). So MS now owns all rights to digital licenses related
to any of FASA's old properties.

*nod* And how did the game feel like, I don't know ... it felt kinda
pulpish when I had the book in my hands. I know that when Mike M. came down
to game with us and saw that we had MiTS's draft copy bound and covered
(thank you Kinko's), he got a kick out of it.

If you want to submit something, in writing,
http://www.fasa.com/writeguidelines.html, here is the link to the
submissions guidelines under FASA. Follow them pretty much, and as for
which direction they would go to, it would depends ... you would have to get
in touch with Rob Boyle himself to discuss that with him.

At GC ('00), the idea of putting the books on CD-ROM was effectively nixed
out, putting other things, like a character generator up was discussed, and
from what I remember the idea was put on hold until after R3 came out as
Mike M. did not want to put something out only to have to redo it again
later on once the final rulebook came out.
