Hayden: our original Fearless Leader, who set up these lists way back when
(1992 I believe). I feel he sneaked out on us, because I don't remember
any "Well people, it's been fun but I'm leaving the lists now"-type
message from him.

Doom: Doctor Doom, the one-time assistant Fearless Leader who used to
write in a very distinct style, and whose thwaps have never really been
equalled.

J.D. Falk: another former FL who went by a lot of different names before
settling on this one, and I don't think anyone ever found out what "J.D."
stands for.

Damion: Damion Milliken, the other Unofficial Shadowrun Guru who
pops up on the list from time to time.

Gurth: who? :)

Cornholio: Mike Ruane, or "Mike, TGC" (The GREAT Cornholio).

Whistler: Erik Jameson, who some of you will recognize from the NERPS
list; he was also the original list.member.grumpy, for good reason :)

I think it was one of the first things that came across my mailbox in the
*old* days. (read : when I lurked heavily) Those lyrics still come to mind
whenever I watch an ep of Animaniacs.

One word : Pedantic. You think Paul Adam and Avenger talk lots, add to it
the must of being not understood by 90% of the population. I'm still
wondering if I should translate his stuff in teh FAQ to something a bit more
readable and less lawyer speakish...

I was on vacation when that song got written up, I believe... I came back
and everybody was talking about mailing list theme songs and stuff, so
I missed it :(

Doom got a life when he graduated, and there were always questions of
whether Hayden was another persona of Doom's, or the other way around (I
don't remember completely).

That might be a good idea, so new subscribers who never saw any actual
posts by Doom can also understand it... ;)

That should, of course, have been "former assistant FL," and he also was
NERPS Project Leader before I took over more than 2 years ago, and Keeper
of the FAQ as well at one time, which is now Dvixen's job.
