I always figured it sounded like French meets German. My Dutch friend
always is asked if he is French. (He hates that...)

*shrug* All I know is that it's got sounds found in both.

He must have a weird accent... I don't think it sounds like French at all,
closer to German but not quite, I'd say (as if that will help you :)

A good number of French words, yeah. But it's much closer related to
German than to French.
