the FX channel on cable over here in the States used to show it about a
year ago...

Don't know if they still do, though... I don't get that channel anymore...:(

Well, we were discussing the idea of a team based on Star Wars. There's
the rigger with his sasquatch sidekick that we already talked about, plus
an old shaman, a brash, young, phys ad with a dikoted katana weapon focus,
and a young but stately female fixer. For the droids, I thought they'd
both just be drones, but we later figured on a two-foot-tall dwarven
decker and a tall elf with a lot of linguasofts.

it scares me that we could be serious about something like that.

Interesting note of trivia. At some point, I believe it was the
second season, his name was briefly changed to Hanley because Hinkley
was the same as the guy that had recently shot President Reagan.

No Sasquatch Riggers in this direction, but i've got one character set to
show up who thinks he's a Jedi, right down to the lightsaber. I've got
another one set to show up that is based on a character in Shadowland
when I was there...a guy using the nick battlemage had character there
named Magus-an immortal elf mage based on the character of the same name
in Chrono Trigger. I haven't decided whether this guy will be exactly
like Battlemage's character (probably not). I'd say a little more about
either, but one of my players is on the list and i haven't yet used these
guys:) He's pretty good about IC/OOC info, but nobody's perfect and the
less he knows, the better:)

You might ask him about any weird characters he's created. Never anything
he'd consider playing, but I know he's got lots of spare characters in
his folder...

yes! Sledge Hammer! That was my favorite show for a long time.
There was a token short-lived comic on it too. I think my favorite
think about him was that damned ugly car, and how he always ran it into
the car in front of him when he parked. he was SOOO COOL!!! :)
i can still remmber the episode when the bomb went off and you
could hear the chief yelling "H a a a m m m m e e r r r!"

I think we could easily place him in chicago... the cermak blast
was actually his fault...
