To refer to the cake in a twinkie as pound cake, is playing pretty loose
with the definition of pound cake :) It's a firm cake that's slightly spongy.

Chocolate covered twinkies are Chocodiles (they're very rare, at least in
Colorado).

Point taken. I just couldn't think of another way to describe it.

I've never seen or heard of them in NY. Thank god...

Wow. Most be really rare. Never ever heard of those, and I've lived in several states
across the country. Kinda like chocolate Zingers without the frosting, or more like the
Swiss Roll coating on a Twinkie?

The last time I saw a chocodile was in 1986. I remember that they were
fairly popular in Colorado when I was in elementary and junior high school
(1976-1980), but then they just kind of faded away.

They're easy enough to reproduce. Melt some chocolate, dip a twinky in the
chocolate, and let it cool.

Chocodiles have chocolate cakey stuff, cream filling, and chocolate coating.

I prefer Funny Bones, myself. Chocolate cakey stuff, chocolate cake, and peanut butter
creme. Drake's is better than Hostess, except for cupcakes of course. Or sinkers, as my
dad calls them. :>

Oops, my mistake. Like I said, it's been a while since I've seen a
chocodile :)

Haven't seen them in my neck of the woods, but they sound good :)

When it comes to the snack foods of Shadowrun, the problem won't be, what
is it, but what are they going to call it? In last night's episode of
Futurama (an animated TV show here in the US) they discovered a new snack
food and when they went to name it there were only two words left in the
dictionary that hadn't been registered as trademark names for snack foods :)
