I really like em. Most of the time their run by someone fairly
competent and I know I stand a good chance of ending up at a worth
while site when I go through a web ring. If I'm searching for
something through Yahoo I have to visit a lot of crappy sites before I
find a good one. So when I find a site with a webring related to what
I'm interested in, I follow the webring.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away.
