I hate to contribute to this thread, but I have installed it twice in 95
minutes once. Got ticked at it one day and formatted my C drive after
backing up, re-installed from scratch, yup, all good, perfect. Its
rebooting and the power goes out...ARGH!!! There goes my registry. Luckily
I still have my backups, so I just formatted AGAIN and re-installed. And
its mis-behaving now, so it looks like its due for a 'refresher'..

That's true, at least...
Everytime I've reinstalled my legal (ehrm) copy of win95 it has gotten
messier and messier...
I loved it first time I installed it but it's just crashing and
crashing... *sigh*

Heh... that sucks. But watch out which network protocols you delete. I
once tried to remove novell protocols - and was asked to insert the
insatllation disks (which I didn't need to let it show up!). No way to
get out of that dialog - there went my installation. Stupid system!
