The problem with playing (or posting for) a centuries old character is the
immense power level they must be playing at. When you spend all day throwing
around 200-die Death Bolts you lose touch with the average joe, and you wonder
why, when you go home, put your feet up, and pet your friendly Fido, you can't
fit in the door, put your feet through the wall (or cieling) and accidentaly
crush Fido's skull to pulp. I'm playing in a high-powered game where I can no
longer get into a barroom brawl without killing people. With one hit. And a
pulled punch, at that.

Remember haw proud you were when you first got that held-together-by-spit-and
-duct-tape Radio Shack deck...When you beheld the matrix for the first time...

Remember when you picked up your first Fichetti light pistol...the trauma of
adjusting to watching the world through your first cybereye, and all the
headaches it gave you...

Remember when your master revealed to you the wonderof Astral space, how to
sculpt and bend this very fabric of reality to your will--to light a candle!

Remember what life is like for the sarariman, the working class drone, and the
kid at the Stuffer Shack who asks ya if ya wan' fries wit' dat?

I'm not naming names here, but a lot of the people on this list have been
living in uptown for so long they wouldn't last a minute on the Real Streets.
Okay, maybe they would, but only because they've got hideous amounts of armor,
Guns that can take out buildings, and are chromed to the gills.

I dare ya t'play a 300-year old Gang Member. =O]
