What would the stats be for the vector thrust drive of a GMC Banshee?
Like max altitude, how long it can maintain this altitude etc.
Also, what is the point in using a railgun as the main armorment (sp?).
between the arcing of the current and the friction on the rails the
gun would be useless after a very limited number of shots.

Hey, here is a nice idea for an adventure. GMC is designing a coilgun
to replace the problem ridden railguns. We want you to steal the plans.

Oh, and just how thick is dikote anyway? If it is only a few molecules (SP)
thick then it should work well on a gun barrel. (And yes I do apply
modifiers for guns that are blazing hot)

Railgun rounds never come into contact with the railgun barrel; the
name 'railgun' is not literal. Instead they're magnetically levitated
in the air. Nor is there particularly any arcing; these are not bare
wires here, they're carefully made electromagnets.

The main attraction is that you don't have to carry propellant; you
merely need warheads. This gives you a weight savings, and if your
major load of rounds are kinetic penetrators, a safety one as well
(your ammunition isn't going to explode in a fire).

We once had the idea of "finding" a t-bird/panzer (why did they drop that
word anyway?) and starting a smuggling business into and out of Seattle. It
never really got off the ground, but by players also never had to go up
against a GMC Banshee...
