Here's something I want to launch to see how much interest there is.
I happen to GM & play, sharing the GM's job with another player.

One of the ideas my character (a shaman) has come up with is a party
for the magically active of all of Seattle.

Due to various technical problems I am going to end up GM'ing the
actual party and therefore have to arrange for some sort of problem.

While I can and have been cruel to my own character before I've
decided to see if anybody out there is interested in coming up with
ideas, or want's to run the party as part of his/her own campaign.

If you're interested please reply either via ShadowRN or E-Mail me at
Khaine@******.COM

If there is much response (over the next week or so) then I'll post
further details on ShadowRN. If I'm really lucky we might even
generate enough response or catch somebodies fancy and the event
will turn up in some SR fiction/sourcebook.

I'm sending the basic party outline in a seperate mail called
Operation Party.

The people I can think of who would be most inrterested would be the law
enforcement agencies, FBI, CIA, NSA, Tairngire's goon squad and half a
dozen others. Inccluding a variety of recruiting corporations.

What a waste of magical talent - especially when it's most of Seattle's
contingent of shamans, to let them wonder around having a party when
they could be earning big bucks somewhere. :)

I can see the board of directors at Aztechnology drooling now.

Don't forget the Atlantean Foundation, Illuminates of the New Dawn, DIMR
(even if they are the 'good guys'), as well as Humanis and Alamos 20k, who
would probably suspect that this 'party' is preparation for the next GGD.

Every law enforcement agency taking pics just to get them on record, every
corp looking for more wiz kids, countrys trying weird experiments with
background counts(hay lots of magic users in a tight space all casting lots
of spells till they drop. ; ) ). and rival initiate groups after a brawl.

Sounds a bit like most of the parties i go to with a bit less confusion.

Do tell more!

And more than a dozen secret societies/toxic circles/what have you.
If you really want to have fun, try reading the Ingolstadt Rock Festival scenes
from _Illuminatus!_. Maybe the Discordians will finally come out in the open
in the SR world. :)

I think the "Discordians" would be a branch of the "Black Lodge", at
least
IMHO. It seems like something that upper circle would love to keep around as
a sort of "great unstabilizing agent".
