I haven't read nearly as much ED stuff as SR,
but my interpretation is that the passions in ED
were once "unified", and with the passing of
magic (and healing of the mad passions,
possibly by the actions of great heros), they
might once again become unified into "one god",
leading to the rise of monotheism. Does this
mean that as the magic level increases God will
fragment again? That is clearly up to each GM
:) -H-, having been born in a time of passions,
would probably see messages from the divine in
terms of passions either way.
