Hmmm, In looking over ShadowTech, I'm coming to realize all of the
different ways they are presenting to deal with toxins and other
nasties that your poor character might become exposed to.

Ok, here is my question:

Is there any reason (besides money) to not simply get a
Full-Spectrum immunization, which, according to the book, "renders
the subject immune to the effects of almost all standard-level
pathogens and known toxic compounds". In my book, that means you
are immune to the common cold, things like Doom or Gamma-Antrax,
cyanide (a compound), etc etc. Not a bad deal for 300k and NO body.

That or you can get things like Pathogenic defense and Toxin
filters (24k per level, .2 body per level EACH) and they simply
reduce the damage code, not provide an immunity.

Am I missing something?

As I understand it, all of what you have stated is true, excepting only Doom.
This is a case of genetics goin wrong. DOOM works so well because there is no
real way to dispose of monoclonal (sorry about the misspell up top) antibodies.
They are part of the system whose job it is to get rid of toxins and other
invaders of the body. It, therefore, escapes all of the body's natural defenses
against infection. Very bad POOKY.

I quote:

" Doom is difficult to treat. Binder does not recognize doom as a toxin,
and antibac and z-interferon are equally useless because doom is neither a
bacteria nor a virus. Cybernetic blood filters and biological pathogenic
defense systems do offer some assistance in combating doom, but only operate at
half-effectiveness (round up). Although doom inflicts no conventional damage,
doom resists as if having a damage code of 6M2."

Hope that answers some of your questions.
