About the adamant protests against physical adepts having a magic
pool, does it really matter? The rules state somewhere that the
sorcery attribute (or the conjuring or enchanting ones for that
matter) can't be used for anything other than mundane purposes. So
even if th eadept did have a "magic pool" it wouldn't be good for
anything other than astral combat. And if he's the stereotypical
physical adept, then he shouldn't need a pool other than his mundane
magically-enhanced combat skill, because the sorcery skill is likely
to be much less than the combat skill(i.e. armed or unarmed combat)
anyways. So, the "magic pool" wouldn't be any use for shielding,
either.
But then again, could any of the metamagic be used by physical
adepts, other than centering?
