Nope, they can't do it. To intercept a spell requires you to be astrally
projecting and to have a delayed action. It specifically says that an
astrally perceiving character cannot react quick enough to intercept a spell.

Ok, the rules on astral perception say that you get a +2 to all non-magic
related target numbers... given that an adepts magic is focused into his body,
would this apply to skills he has Increased Ability in?

Hmmmm... I think doing anything more than (permanently) transferring the
penalty would be unbalancing ... like +2 to all astral target numbers ...
I think someone else mentioned this ... I personally would leave it alone
:)

Depens since it is physical activities and not non-magical.
So if its a physical activity that is boosted by his abilities then yes its
+2.
