it, but one of my players plays him and it works well.
A grade 4 Initiate physical adept with a rating 6 Martial Arts skill, 4
extra dice, and a combat pool of 6. The way I run a Martial Arts skill is for
every level, you get to choose among a list of special abilities. He has a
Martial Grab, a Nerve Strike, a Defensive Strike, a Martial throw, a Martial
Dodge, and a Choke Hold. In addition, he has killing hands(Serious). The Grab
gives him a harder hold for the target to break, the Nerve Strike allows him to
cause immobility to the struk part while grip is maintained, the Defensive
Strike lets him counter-attack more effectively, the Martial Throw does (Str+2)
M when the target lands, the Dodge allows him to avoid damage easier, and the
Hold is A LOT harder to break and is much harder to hit than normal. I don't
find any problem with this, and it means that a Martial Artist(normal) is about
as powerful as a regular PhysAd and that a Martial PhysAd is REALLY nasty. But
not indestructable.
