Subject: Physical sorcerers?

Has anyone tried creating a physical magician who combined their physical
prowess with _only_ sorcery or conjuring ability? I was thinking of using
the standard phys-mage rules (including the priority A Magic requirement),
but allocating an Aspected Magician's higher spell-points and allowing the
combined metamagical abilities of the Adept and the Sorcerer/Conjurer.

Yup. Considered a Physical Conjurer, actually, but wanted the spell
defense dice so went with full mage ... I still have time though and
might switch back to a Physical Conjurer ...

I had thought of having a similar system, but having a Priority A as an Adept
and an Aspected mage (to use SR3 terms) Then bumping the physmage to a full
mage and adept (still spliting points, but getting astral proj) up a notch.
This would only matter when you use the build to ten or point system though.

I hope you explicitly state that the physmage's Adept abilities don't
work whilst projecting ... I'd hate to see an astrally projecting
character running around astral space with an initiative of +26+4D6 (+20
for stral projection, +6 + 3D6 for adept ability) and/or Killing Hands D
... Rather inappropriate, IMO :)

The initiative bonus sure, who cares :-) (compared to the 20, the rest is not
so much of an increase)
The killing hands though, Maybe as an additional power (double or triple
the normal cost)
