In 1st and 2nd edition, a spell is an astral construct which is created by the
caster and crosses astral space to reach its target, but in 3rd edition, spells
are likened to some sort of "astral radiowaves" which are attuned to the target.
Was this change caused by new casting techniques or the increased mana count?
