This quite possibly may not be a topic for discussion on this list but I thought I'd bring
it up and see how you all thought this situation should be delt with. I just spoke with a
friend of mine who had the opportunity to play in another's game session this afternoon.
We discussed a few things - things I would like to implement into my own GM style - and
also that none of them appeared to have any FASA printed books.

Now, I don't know if these guys OCR'ed books and passed them around or what but one of
them was bragging about a web site. Who it belongs to I don't know, my friend didn't even
get the address.

Are you guys aware of any such web site? Would you even play with someone that had
pirated books? Is there anyone to contact about this? Am I making a mountain out a mole
hill considering the state of FASA and the uncertainty of future products?

This thread can be taken off list if you'd prefer it, I just wanted to get some opinions
on how to handle this potential "situation".

John

There are a few sites and services that carry such material; WizKids is
being notified of them as they are being found.

If pirated books made up their entire library, no.

Contact me, and I'll forward the information on to WizKids.

Uncertainty? FanPro LLC has already released the first book under license
from WizKids, Target: Awakened Lands is hitting distributors, and the
release schedule up until mid-2002 is finalized and many of those books are
already in production.

Full steam ahead - as fast as one fulltime employee, one partime
contractor, and a bunch of freelancers can go. ;-)
