I *think* plastic explosives decrease in power by 1 for every meter. The
power is figured by multiplying the square root of the mass (in kg) times
the value of the plastique. So, 4kg of C-12 would have a base power of 24
(square root of 4 = 2, 2 x 12 = 24). The power of the explosion would be
24 at 0-1m, 12 at 12-13m, and 0 beyond 24 meters. And I think the damage
level is Serious. The base power and damage level can be increase using
the demolitions skill (the rules for this in, or near, the rules for
Grenades).

The damage level starts off at Deadly.

Well, I was going from memory. Not bad considering the
state of my mind :)

That's great recollection from just memory, though.

The PCs in my game like to blow things up, so I'm pretty
familiar with that rule :) Now if the initiated mage would
only get serious about magic...
