Reasonately, I have heard that fasa had press passes for when the
Big "D" had his reception when he won the Election. As promos
at a con. I don't know which con.

I would like to know is if there is any other type of promo stuff
like I.D. Cards., Pass Ports, and other items like that planned for
the future.

I don't get to go to Cons that much so does anyone
know if Fasa is going to have more different types of promo
merchandise for Shadowrun.

Don't get me wrong I do like the novels, and RPG
Books. But I wish that there was other stuff offered.

end of line..........

Probably GenCon 1996, which was when it was announced that Dunkelzahn had
been killed.

FASA's usual type of promo material consists of posters with art from a
game book on them, and in the past, flyers. For example, I've got flyers
from 1990 and 1993, which have some blurb (short stories, etc.) and
announcements about upcoming books, and posters with the SRII GM screen
cover and the SR3 main rulebook cover, plus I've seen a poster with the
art from the cover of the Lone Star sourcebook.

The only way I've found to actually get any of this promo material,
though, is to go to a con where FASA makes an appearance.

I haven't heard about any Con promo stuff, but do you already have a
full selection of Denver passports? There was a pass of every sector,
and only two were included in each box. I still lack the CAS and Pueblo
ones... :-)

That would have been the year Dunk was assassinated--they
announced the assassination at the con. It is one of my
biggest SR-related regrets that I was not there. :)

I think it was 3 years ago.

As for the passes, I don't believe they were handed out
at the con. I think they were given out to the press (folks
from game magazines and such) as a promo. I got mine through
Ebay...you can see a picture of them at:

http://www.magespace.net/badges.html

They're very cool! Laminated, with little clips (kind of like
employment ID badges). I didn't even know they existed until
I saw them for sale.

As someone else mentioned, there are the Denver passports.
I don't know of anything else (other than the paper stuff,
like posters and handouts with stories in them.) If anyone
*does* know of any others, I'd be interested.

You mean you never ran across the DocWagon cards they gave
out one year or the giant glow-in-the-dark NERPS buttons? <g>

It was 3 years ago. Players in the tourney got press passes.

The Denver pass cards. One year FASA was giving out security clearance
badges for buying product. Buttons for the card game. The cool SR snake-logo
pins a while ago (you may be able to buy these).
Plus posters a-plenty every year.

Other than the pins, I've never seen this stuff for sale. Which is a shame,
b/c I think they would sell very well.
