SixthWorld.org (conviently mentioned on Bull's Orgins List) is all
about NPG (Non-Profit Groups, which should include Policlubs). It should be
released sometime next year.

Not many policlubs are actually mentioned in the books -- it's IMHO a bit
like Star Wars: you have, what, ten planets in the movies? But it comes
across like a whole universe with lots more. Same with policlubs: a few are
mentioned specifically, but it gives the impression that there are many
more. Details are few and far between, except for global descriptions. In
short: make it up when you need it :)

The only ones I can remember off the top of my head, without doing a search
through the various books, are:

* Humanis: human supremacists, as I suppose every SR player knows
* Der Nachtmachen: anarchists (with a weird name probably just made up to
sound German :)
* ORC (Ork Rights Committee): duh...
* MOM (Mothers of Metahumans): ditto
* Neo-Anarchists: see the first couple of pages of the Neo-A Guide to North
America

There must be some others, but I can't think of them right now.

There were a couple mentioned in the Harlequin adventure, IIRC;
The Young Elven Technologists, lead by Ehran the Sage (prince of Tir
Tairngir)
and another one, which are thier arch nemesis, cant remember thier name
right now. Elf Poser types..

* Sons of Sauron: the metahuman version of Humanis,
although generally portrayed as less vile - they seem
to be more interested in beating up on racist humans
than humans in general.
* Human Nation: Humanis on 'roids - technically still
a policlub, but entirely militant (and thus could be
viewed as a purely terrorist organisation). These guys
are portrayed as the secret masters behind Humanis,
although it seems they also have their own secret
masters.
* Greenwar (I think): Eco-terrorists, but probably
with a legitimate policlub face.

Mmmm...Der Nachtmachen were actually the secret guys
behind another German policlub whose name I can't
remember (or vice versa - can't remember 100% which
one was the secret master) and behind them was
Alamais, Lofwyr's brother. Not a lot of help there,
but whatever. The names can be found in the book
Night's Pawn, if you want to go looking.

Hi there,

Aren't these supposed to be dead at the middle of the adventure or at least run out of
their leaders? Played it once and gmed it twice, outcome was always the same...

For more info on Ecotage groups in shadowrun I found the following
site quite successful:

Same here, but that doesn't mean they're not around anymore... The adventure
leaves the leaders dead, but there should still be other members, I suppose.

Remember the entire concept of enemies... one survivor with a thirst for
revenge is all it takes to have a bit of fun at the Player's expense down
the road. And one survivor is all it takes to restart an organization...
It might even lead to a `better` organization as a result.

a typo - it's TerraFiRst! :)

Alamos 20K last I heard, have they doubled their membership or something? or
is it that they've got Space Marines in their ranks now? :-)

Alamos 20K also have an extreme wing IIRC, The Hands of Five.
I may have missed something happening to them but certainly they were
kicking around in the late 2040's.

According to something I read a while ago there used to be (I'm not sure if
they still exist) a fairly militant group who could be called a policlub;
called something like "TurnSignal" who drive round shooting out the
indicators of cars who maneuver without using them.
