Okay, so here's the deal. I know that Battletech can be transferred
relatively painlessly. A lot of the people I know use Battletech stuff in
their shadowruns... I just want to know has anyone done anything with the
Crimson Skies system? I just think it might be kewl to have a rigger whose
vehicle is something like the planes they have available in that game. (sure
it wouldn't be as maneuverable as say the jets, EFA variants, or choppers of
the SR world, but I still think it would make for a cool concept...)

The reason I'm asking is I'm almost considering tracking down the main SB
for that system just for this purpose but I'd hate to waste money I don't
really have. Looking for everybody's opinions on this...humble or not
humble!

Actually..it'd be very high on manueverability. It's speed where the
problem lies. You don't have too many people who go barnstorming in jets,
after all. I don't think the rigger stuff as currently listed goes too
much into biplanes, though.

Well it probably doesn't but how difficult would it be to transfer the
pre-existing stats from that gaming system? I'm presuming not too much so
since they're the same gaming company but that's not always the case...

Sort of, but not the direction you're thinking :]

I've been working on some conversion stuff (I have like three sets of
Conversion material sitting around in notebooks half finished :)) to play a
CS RPG using the SR system (You just have to tone a bunch of stuff down),
and basically use the Mini's and the CS game for air combat, and SR system
for stuff like boarding actions and in between stuff...

Behind the Crimson Veil is a MUST if you want to play that game as a
campaign though, as it actually has costs for repairs, parts, and whole
planes :] Actually makes a Campaign of any sort viable :]
