Subject: Possible good sourcebook for SR

I just finished reading something last night which I think would make
a good source for info. on corporate espionage for SR.

It was GURPS Espionage. I know a lot of you may hate GURPS or not be
familiar with it. That is all right. The book does not have a lot
of GURPS specific stuff. But it does have several real good discussions
on real-life espionage activities (extractions, rescues, surveillance,
etc.) that I found quite interesting. Some of the things are common sense.
But some just seem brilliant after you think about them. The real
good part of the book is about 30 pages of nothing but tricks of the
trade. Every SR player and GM should read some of these tactics. I plan
to (hopefully) incorporate as much of the material as I can in order
to try to make the SR world as real as possible.

BTW: Most of the tricks and tactics are rather involved and it may not
be suitable for munchkin players. In fact most organizations plan for the
worst case. Which would make the munchkin characters play right into their
hands.

In the Quiktek scale of source material, I give GURPS Espionage an 8.
Tir Tairngire a 7 and Corporate Shadowfiles a 9.
