I was just having this discussion with a few friends of mine and someone
mentioned that they had read in one of FASA's books that pot was legalized
in the SR future. Can anyone give me any canon references to confirm or deny
this? =) Thanks!

I vaguely recall this information hinted at/eluded to in the Aztlan
sourcebook with regards to that nation. I know that a *house rule*, Aztlan
has legalized marijuana and other related "soft drugs" within it's own
borders.

Hey, as they've said for years ... legalize it then taxize it and make some
money in the process of making the consumer happy as well ...

I think that, except in shamanic circles, all regular drugs would be very
outdated. Why get a bit of a buzz from dope when you can plug into some
simsense? Why take LSD, risking a bad trip, when you can use BTL and
experience whatever you want? It would be hard to even find a dealer, I
think.

Dunno... Worshipping a plant is one thing, but worshipping a
part of a plant?

Unless your pot is coming mixed with something else, I don't
think it'll make you see anything. I've never had it^H^H^H^H^H^H
heard of it happening.

I don't see why not, though I would give said Shaman +2 dice to casting
Mental Manipulations and Illusions spells in addition to the -2 dice to
Combat spells.

They'd also be constantly relaxed. NOTHING excites them, damn it! AHHH!
