I believe the DLoH was asked this question on how does cyber get energy to work,
and in answer said something to the effect of - it works, its high tech, I don't
know High Tech, and it hasn't been invented yet - so I can't tell you what it
is. In other words he ment - its a game, don't worry too much over this piddly
point. The cyber works - don't ask how.

As you can see- there isn't an answer, Well atleast from FASA.

With all the super carictors being discused at the mo heres a
thought.
In any game it is possible to get a super carictor by
accident or design or a sick GM what places the limit on the
carictor is the player. The gm said that he wanted a vampire pc
so i played one , the carictor could do all sorts including the
change to mist bit, now this lead me to create a very powerful
attack mode useing spurs , it goes change to mist , drift behind
opponent reform , remove apponents backbone. this worked realy
well and was a dam near auto kill , but it wasnt used more than
abought 4 times ever as we didnt need it.
outher things spring to mind. why is said carictor a
were and loaded up on cyber/bioware isnt this a bit OTT as if
you get looked at astraly youll be a uniqe ( dead giveaway)
person and one you description gets out every one will be able
to eyeball / finger you. The worst thing is that it still doesnt
make you unkillable as if people want you dead there are always
ways, who needs to decapitate when you could fit a rotary assult
cannon with flechette rounds ( a step up from the nam era
beehive rounds) you might be able to regenerate but this is
going to put thousands of small holes in you , or how abought a
nerve gas Phosgene isnt that hard to make if you know how ( i
worked it out and belive me its scary) and that make you feel
good for a while then you drown in your own snot, then theres
the more extreme metods planes crash on you accident spirits
cause mor evil etc,
the best cure is not let anyone know abought how good you are
and act like a sheep in the crowd.

"Act like a sheep in the crowd"
No joke, that's the only way to stay alive, especially when
you're the wolf in a world full of sheepdogs and sheep. Fluf *can't* be
a sheep, her astral form is that of a tiger with a smartlink and a
datajack so she lives in Puyallup. But, she wishes she could.
Actually, all of my characters, except Fluf, can travel into
central Seattle on their (faked) credstiks. Credstiks with the proper
licenses for cyber, etc *are* available, at a price. And they never
carry large weaponry except on runs (and rarely then) but Fluf is stuck
out in the barrens because of *what* she is.
That's roleplaying. I *like* Fluf because of her problems.
