]I would really like to start a discussion on hypothesized technological specs
]of cyberware. For instance, it a piece of cyberware was to replace an extremity
]it would have to be custom-made for length and weight - otherwise it would
]unbalance the person. Also, what makes cyberware move ? Nanomotors?
]What powers cyberware ? Biothermal energy? Battery power? Nuclear fuel?

Not to be nasty, but WHY?!

They work, and to attempt to study specs is going to require more expertise in
the modern equivalent of biotech. We simply (as I understand it) don't have
that kind of expertise.

If you just want to have some explanation for your players - make something
up!! If it seems plausible now, it should be even more so then. Shadowrun is
not a science. It is a creative exercise in imagination, and imagination is
not going to supply your "specs."

If you really want off-the-wall ideas, try EM induction, or a system which
harnesses the body's waste heat to power it, or temperature gradients, . . .
