Looking for suggestions:

First of all does anyone have suggestions of a...
get this: a silencer for a Panther Autocannon - munchkin alert!!!
he said I know it makes alot of noise when it hits
I just don't want him to know where it came from (at least not right
away) or maybe it was I don't want his friends to know where it
came from.

Secondly he wanted to know - is it possible to get ahold of a
Doc-Wagon or Lone-Star tranciever (or make one) - the electronic
device that makes the lights change to green before you get to the
intersection.

P.S. don't forget to add any repercussions to having these items.

Thanks in advance.
Gary.

Silenced Panther cannon, well, maybe you could slopw thenround to
sub-sonic speeds, and maybe you could slow the gasses to that
speed too, but it'd seriously lower the reange, and the rou d still
explodes at the end of it's flight (chopper had them down as 20mm
shaped-charges I think).

Oh yeah, and you'd have to have a silencer attachment the same length
as the assault cannon, so you'd end up toting round a gun about 12'
long (remember the Robocop assault cannons, now doulbe it :-) ).

By Autocannon, do you mean the minigun version, the one that does
full auto? thw whine must be heard for tens of metres alone.

ii) Yeah, no problem, not that I'd heard of one of those before,
but it should be possible. you need the right freqeuncy,
encryption and protocols, etc. Hard and long-winded, but
possible for someone who's sufficiently motiviated.
Now if you can get them to change back to red _after_ you've
gone through, and stay that way...

Repercussions? Yeah, Lone Star come round and kill while you're
'resisting arrest' ;-)

The U.S.Army special operations had a sound suppressor for a 20mm
AA gun and 'silent' shotgun ammuition and there are several varities of
'silent mortars' but in all cases the weapons and/or ammution was
designed from the begining to be silent (or suppressed) and only at the
weapon. The explostion still makes noise. I would not let the PCs or NPCs
have any type of sound or flash reduction device for a Panther Assault
cannon. If it is a NPC that needs to cause an explostion over there with
out revealing his location then I would equip him with a Grenade
Launcher. It makes a "blup" sound that 1 does not sound like a fire arm
and 2 does not carry. If it is for PCs, I would let them figure it outfor
them selves of course you could have a NPC demonstrated for or is it on
them <GRIN>.

Yes, all it takes is money and the right contact. The question is
how they work. The city where I live is installing a system right now.
The system uses a high intensty strobe light on the vehicle and a
detector on the light pole. When the detector senses the light the
traffic light turns red in all directions. The emergency vehicles then
"run" the light. How useful this would be I don't know. Another system I
have seen in San Jose CA does accelerate the light sequence to favor
transit busses. The drawback is that the detector is clearly visible atop
the bus. In all cases the use of the devise is that it is a crime (if
caught) and the devise is contraban. I would let the PCs get one (charge
a lot of money and much trouble to get) then let them be hoist by their
own petard.<TRUELY EVIL GM GRIN>
