I'd say the majority of the "target acquisition" and other
"Predatorvision"
stuff mentioned would fall under the rubrick of the cyber Tactical Computer
(linked to a display link, of course). Sounds like the Terminator, too.
*grin*

Of course, the targeting aspect can also be subserved by a smartgun link
(linked to a shoulder weapon mount that has a laser designator in the
classic Predator triangle and fires weapon grade lasers or phosphorus
rounds). Then there is the great leaping and movement aspects of the
Predator, which would be simulated by hydraulic jacks and possibly a balance
augmentor. He could also have an Earthdawn "Hawk Hatchet" that was Dikoted,
a collapsible spear, and a self-activated "cranial bomb". He had a medkit,
if I remember correctly from Predator II. Of course, the ruthenium polymer
dermal sheathing is almost mandatory, as well as probably some bone lacing.
This is not even going into the sensory enhancements that the Predator has
(such as multispectrum vision, long distance hearing, etc.). I'm thinking
about this WAY too much. *grin*

ROFL! It doesn't have to be Unintelligible Roaring, does it? I mean, it's
intelligible to someone, I'm assuming. Didn't the Predator have a monowire
net-gun in the 2nd movie, too? He also has a spear gun in the PC game
"Aliens vs. Predator"... Now I'm REALLY thinking too much about this...

I dunno... the way those guys fight amongst themselves all the time...
the hostility evident in their actions against other species... it all
points to a dramatic breakdown in communication. I'm guessing they can't
understand each other, and it frustrates them to no end :)

It's imPOSSible to think, quote, "too much," about Aliens and Predators.
Well, maybe it is... I once thought about it so much I designed Shadowrun
Aliens and sent my PCs on a mission where they encountered them in a corp
facility on a remote South American island (original, eh?). It was the
standard "most NPCs die horribly and PCs must leg it to avoid getting et"
theme. It worked pretty well, actually, considering the various handicaps :)

Can you sent me the stats of your aliens?

Thanx!

They're just bits on the virtual breeze now, Peter, sorry. But hey,
you've got me all interested in doing them up again. If I do, I'll send
'em to ya. There's no guarantee they're going to be good, mind you... but
I'll do my best (which should be better than what I threw together in two
hours 8 years ago).

No problem. I wanted to start myself, but I'm not sure about their stats and
powers. I don't want to make gamebreakers
