I find it useful for its intended purpose: as a source of miscellaneous
NPC ideas. I don't care so much for the stats (most of my NPC's don't
have stats until they're needed and then I make them up as I go along),
and the "Links" sections for suggested shadowruns are garbage, but there
are several interesting characters (e.g. Martin DeVries, the chess-playing
ganger, Wolfram's Gang) in the bunch that I've used or might use sometime.
Of course, Prime Runners is only worth the money for this purpose if
you're a rabid completionist. You can get equally good ideas for free
from NERPS Foundations or BlackJack's compilations.
