Ok, I've added a link to my probabilities table. It's near the bottom of my
home page.

Hmmm... Does it run pretty smoothly? Cuz this sounds
pretty good so far.

Works out fine... We've never had any real problems with it, and it makes
the PC's work that much harder...

And we haven't had too many complaints, even though ocvcasionally it does
screw over a player... It's gotten me (as a PC) once or twice, but it
solves that odd "7" problem...

We follow this rule all the way up the dice scale, too... i.e., 13, 19,
etc...

My group voted to just keep the way it is....it feels good to know you can
add the numbers up, and fate aligns sometimes to make it that much easier on
you. (or them)...sort of the random factor.

Or if you want to look at in another way, a cooincidence occurs so that the
bad things happening cancel each other enough to prevent an additional point.

(Okay, so you do have a lot of recoil.. Fortunately, the poor light made you
aim low....)

Personally, it isn't a big deal with me, but this sounds good for the nubmer
crunchers in your group.

Yeah . . . but you deserved it every time.
Besides, PC's have the advantage of teamwork (usually) and I tend to be
pretty liberal with the situational target number mods, as well as passing
out karma!
