Spike and I have done a bit of experimenting, and are now pretty sure,
that if you are having trouble reading MIME-encoded posts, send

set shadowrn nomime

to the listserv, and it should filter any posts headed in your direction
that are MIME-encoded, to a more readable format. Hope this is of help
to those who were having trouble...

;)

But, but, a MIME is a terrible thing to waste.

<groan> That was bad.

If you love MIME's so much, dear David, send 'set shadowrn mime' to the
listserv, and you'll be up to your eyeballs in 'em.

No thank you! :) The company I work for just had a painful
experience yesterday when a corporate VP emailed an
attachement that (unkown to him) had a virus in it. I burn
attachements out of hand now, or wait 24-hours for the tech
boys to check it out.

It wasn't pumpernickle, it was "The Olive Loaf Vigilante pummels street
mimes"
Very funny strip that was, especially with the roaches Giving top
leaders subliminal messages to do very bad stuff.

Now using Gweedo the Killer Pimp ver. 3.1 sporting such features as:
A poleyester leisure suit, platform shoes, a pink cadillac, fuzzy dice,
and a gold tooth!
