Hail Chummers!

Have some cash to spend on Shadowrun materials and I'm curious as to waht
you all recommend to a returning player (last played first edition). I have
3rd Ed. Rules, Grimoire (1st), Sprawl Sites(1st), London Sourcebook(1st),
CyberTechnology and Fields of Fire. I have a few old adventures and the new
First Run.

Anything that I should buy? I am GM'ing an online game and playing
(hopefully in a PBeM). Appreciate the help.

Magic in the Streets. The magic system has changed enough that the
information in the Grimore you have won't work well anymore.

According to Matthew M. Teixeira, at 20:51 on 3 Jun 99, the word on
the street was...

Take a look at http://www.xs4all.nl/~gurth/shadowrun for a virtually
complete list of reviews of SR products (except for the latest release,
Magic in the Shadows), plus my recommendations for what you might want to
get next.

Certainly, if I were you I wouldn't use the first-edition Grimoire
anymore, as it's badly outdated. If you want an advanced magic book, buy
Magic in the Shadows, but if I were you I'd wait with that until you've
gotten used to the basic system from the SR3 rulebook.

Well, I've heard good things about the other SR3 stuff (Magic in the
Shadows, et al). I've always been a fan of Fields of Fire (SR2 but some
interesting gear and insights into the merc mentality) and Awakenings (the
stuff on pysads is cool, but it mat be in MitS). Shadowrun Comanion is also
good. Other than that, it depends on what style of game you want to play
and where you want to play it. Check out FASA's site. They list a lot of
their products there.

There're a couple of pages on our site, which claims to do just that.
(Did I mention the fact that you can order from there too?)

The GM's List (with short commentary):
http://BigKnobiKlub.virtualAve.net/store4.htm

The Player's Lists (based on char type):
http://BigKnobiKlub.virtualAve.net/store5.htm

Hope this helps,
