Appearantly, some people are able to do it with a sim-sense rig and a lot of
work like the kiddies at the Nexus... I still like the Idea that Bane
(Denver Comp) is a free net spirit...

As regards to physical adpets vs Street Samies.. The biggest difference
is that the Sam has a limit to the total preformance he can get (ie
escence 6 and bio index 6 or higher depending on who and what you are)

Theoretically an adept has no limit. say a grade 80 initiate with a magic
of 86.. They, like a mage need to work to get good.. A sam is only as good
as his crome.. and a few skill softs..

Don't think I'd ever let anyone have that much power.. think of it that
would be like a sam with wires 3... +20 dice to every check.. and more
armor than you could shake a Vindicator Mini gun at...

Wiz kids and adepts are powerful.. especially when they think..
Wiz against Sam Wiz wins hands down.. that is unless the sam can find
the Magic's body then Sam wins..

Actually the cool thing is that Ritual magic can hit you anywhere
but a sniper has to have a direct line of sight...

Ps. Does anyone have some idea of the stats on the ward on the hive
in "Burning Bright"? I mean what level would it take to confine
that much radiation? Also, forgive the ED link but, are the bugs the
for runners of the Horrors?

Yep. And cultured bioware/betaware make those points count a whole lot. If
you want to talk upper limit... Beta-grade wired 3. Cultured Muscle Aug 4.
Beta Dermal 3. Beta Muscle Enhancement 4. The fun just keeps going and
going... (or dying and dying as the deadly munchkin virus sets into the char
and suddenly megacorps are handing over things to the runners as extortion
rather than face being run against)

Of course he does! Do you get the same karma for smacking some invalid as
you do for defeating a cybermonster? Well, that's the difference between a
baseline phys ad and a level 5 initiate. If there's no challenge, there's
no karma. And a sam is as good as his player (that rule holds true to any
character though). Oh, and his cred balance. Cred is the one thing that
gets BIGGER as you get better...
