Okay, here's my idea. Paolo, if you're willing, I'd like to see
/your/ site be the main one -- you've done such an amazing job with your
web pages, it only make sense.
CAIS, somebody in Australia, and whoever else wants to do so can
just mirror your site -- we can work out the technical details later.
(The only requirement for us mirroring it would be that the main file has
to include a few lines on how to get more information about CAIS's many
services -- probably Paolo's ISP will want to do something similar.)

Regarding that whole idea with buying a drive and stuff -- it may
or may not be necessary. My current theory is that it wouldn't be, at
least for my site -- but I'll let y'all know.

For the mirror sites I think there is no need for the list to own
the drive- if a mirror gets yanked, the actual archive can
probably take the load until a new mirror is found. It'd be bad
if all the sites were on borrowed space, though, since that will
almost certainly leave the archive homeless at some point.

IMHO, that is. :)
