I agree that psionics should have interposing skills, one skill for each
discipline, and then the individual powers be like spells. But I would
like to add another priority to character generation. It would be cool.
Besides, magic and psionics are two different things.

Well, there is a slight problem, IMHO, with that. If you make each of
the seven disciplines a skill, you have to spend those precious skill
points at creation. For mages, there are only two or three categories
(socery, magic theory, and conjuring).

Perhaps the solution is a couple of skills, and then leave the 'purchase
disciplines' the way they are.

SKILLS:
PSIONIC THEORY -- (similiar to magical theory)
Includes the general inderstanding of the function and
functioning of psionics. This is vital in the design of
new abilities.
Concentrations: Design (by dicipline), History (by
continent)

PSIONICS USE -- (similiar to sorcery)
Governs the control of psionic energy in the form of using
abilities.
Concentrations: By Discipline, Ritual Psionics (by
discipline)

Problems with that are that the world will then be overrun with
munchkins. Granted, I think there should be a way for people to be a
full mage and full psionic (for the role-playing potential), but to add
a sixth category jsut means more people with meta-character or high
tech or high skills. IMHO, double up on 'E'.

No, add an F, that way characters would be the same, theyd just defunct
there psi priority to E or F. This would allow you to play psionic/mages
and still have it balanced.

I like the skills rules though.

What does IMHO mean?

Then something needs to be written up to determine what an 'F' rating in
skills, attributes, and tech will give you. And do you still need an 'A'
rating (B for meta) to be a full Psi?

Well, depending on who you ask, either 'In my Humble Opinion' or 'In My
Honest Opinion'. There may be a few less-common ones as well.

Don't worry about figuring that out, its easy. I would just like
to add another priority, it would be cool.
