Subject: | Pure cybernetic command & running "naked" |

Program Carrier listed in the Gear section of SRII. He was quite aware
of this because in writing SR2, he decided to get rid of the concept of
running "naked" in the matrix. I can't remember the exact reason behind
this but I seem to remember him making a comment about deckers running
around plugging their heads into toasters. So, for the SR2 purist,
running naked in the matrix no longer exists...
Now, as to pure cybernetic command goes, every normal deck has a
keyboard that the decker uses. What everyone seems to bee overlooking
are the wonderful new "headware" decks from Shadowtech. These, from my
understanding, will give you the bonus of being under pure cybernetic
command.
Also, since this is my first post to this list, I would like to take
the time to repost information about an offer I posted in
rec.games.frp.misc a little while ago...
I am collectiing errors in SR2 and sending them to Tom Dowd so that
they can be included in FASA's latest errata. I am also doing this
because I would like to see SR2 *only* have to go up to a second
corrected printing instead of 5 which the first edition did.
In oder to do this, I need your help. Any errors you find, send to
me and I will add to my list to send to Tom. Periodiocally, he will
send me the latest errata and I will be able to pass it on to all of
you...
Also, I talked to Tom and he is willing to answer questions you may
have about Shadowrun. There are 2 basic stipulations though:
(1) Try and make the questions as easily answerable as possible
(prefferably Yes/No or multiple choice answers.
(2) Don't expect a speedy response. After all, Tom's a busy guy. :-)
Therefore, if you have any questions, mail them to me and I will
compile a list of questions to send off to Tom periodiocally. Thanks.
