A thought that comes to me is to tie magic to the technology, make them
inseparable. The technology allows the "magic."
<shrug>

Neat concept. But, are their powers going to be similar to the
"mecha-magic" or something totally different.

Also, which Phantasy Star are you talking about 2 or 4. In 4 the
Telepaths also had thier magical "skills" in addition to the magic
"techniques" that they had.

Sorry Folks. Gabriel wrote to me apologizing for thinking I was
responding further on list. I should have mentioned that any follow-up to
my initial post would be direct Email and not through the list.
