I don't have access to Shadowtech right now and this question has
been harrassing me in the back of the head all morning: What is the
added bonus, or ability, feature or whatever, when the Encephalon and
Skillwires plus are used together? Or is there not one because I'm
thinking of something else?

If I remember right you can up load skillsofts into headware memory with
an Encephalon but as I also don't have ShadowTech in front of me that's
as good as it gets.

Hope it helps

It's been a while since I've messed with a skillchipper character
but IIRC Encephalon only comes into play if you are accessing the skills
from head memory and then it's involved with max load that can be
accessed without drag time.
There was a lot of fun math involved messing with head memory and
load drag but I can't recall without looking it up what it was. It was a
fun little challenge and I remember that I could access more information
than what I could deal with when I maxed everything out.

I always thought the Enchephalon included a poor softlink...

The entire encephalon is a conglomeration of other toys....I/O SPU,
display link, softlink, increased Intel, increased Task Pool,
Multi-tasking, etc.

I don't think there is a bonus. The encephalon lets you use skillsofts
(mainly, knowsofts and linguasofts) when they're uploaded into headware
memory, but you don't need skillwires for those anyway.
