Subject: Question about spells:
Date: Wed, 4 May 1994 19:20:02 +0200
In the 1. edition the clairvoyance spell allowed the subject to see through
any and all walls that were not also astral barriers up to the range of
the spell. It says nothing about this in the second editon. Why? Has it
been left out on purpose? What can possibly be the use of the clairvoyance
spell if this is not possible?

Egil

You can't see through walls with Clairvoyance. That requires X-Ray vison.
However, you can see as if you were on the other side of the wall.

I belive that clairvoyance states that you must be able to see the point from
which you wish to view at the time of casting. So how about casting it at
a T, or cross junction in a corp complex, lets you look around those corners
without sticking your head out. Or using it to get a close up of something
over the far side of the room (useful if that something is ticking). And I'm
sure that the realy perverted out their could come up with some other
applications.

A'Deus.
