Because it's damn effective. I was on an army reserve exercise about 10
years ago, back when Jungle Greens were the standard australian combat
fatigues. There were some guys about 200m away from me in the bush, down
a hill. If they weren't moving, I couldn't see them. That's the whole
point really.
