Subject: Quick Question Buying Karma

Was something mentioned on the list a while ago about _buying_ karma, or am
I out of my freaking gourd. Are there rules for buying karma in one of the
books somewhere. (I swear I heard someone mention something about it.) If
it's a house rule, I'm curious, so send me a copy if you have time, over
personal e-mail.
Thanks again.

(Hey, did you guys know what a great help you are?)

Sincerely,

Courtney C. Campbell...

Well it's from the Shadowrun Companion which is a book of more or less
house rules. I guess that means yes to both counts. It's from a varient
setup where normal karma is not earned (Karmaless campaign) then again it
could be used to counter Mages being a karmic black hole. It all depends
on how you what to interpret what it does for your game. I guess I do
not need to state my opinion on it.

The SR Companion has rules for turning money into karma and karma into
money. I don't like them myself, but someone may find them useful -- page
78 of the Companion has rules for these things.

We agree, I bet some people wouldn't have imagined it. I knew we
wouldn't argue about everything.
