We had a pretty good one last night. The team was hitting the wilderness
to hit a former gov't installation. Several of the players were compiling
a list of things they would need (survival kits, tents, ropes, etc.) At
the top of the list was a rigger to fly them as close to their objective
as he could. When questioned about what pack mule was going to carry
the list of crap, they all smiled and pointed to the Phys Adept troll of
the party with the 10 Strength. After taking a moment to look at the list,
the troll looked up at them and said- "No way! I am not carrying the rigger
and all this other shit!"

... Well... I thought it was funny...

In one of the published modules (Killing Glare... tm? and all that),
there is a scene where one or more of the characters is potentially
exposed to national vidcast. Well, it was one (1) of the characters all
right, the rest had snuck away but he took a bit too much stun and was
unable to make his concentration roll. The Eagle shaman's shapechange
faltered and he fell a meter or so to the ground. Stark naked. In front
of all those innocent children watching Urban Brawl, no less. Well, the
most fastest character races toward him at a blur with the intention of
picking him up and running off to safety.

GM - "BTW, what's your strength?"

RazorGuy - "5"

GM - "Eagle, what's your bod?"

Eagle - "naked! err... 6"

The ruling was made that under the conditions the Eagle couldn't be just
picked up. At this point one of the players wagged his finger at the
RazorGuy and said,

"Don't Squeeze the Sha(r)man!" - my fav quote...

I can't believe I said "most fastest." I meant "most heavily cybered for
speed" and confused my fingers.

Hello peoples,

I have two questions, one SR and one not.

At the end of the third of the "Secrets of Power" novels, _Find_You_Own_Truth_,
Sam remembers that a brave man once told him to "Walk in beauty". Just who said
that? I can't for the life of me remember.

On the subjects of things in books which I can't work out, in Grant Naylors
_Better_Than_Life_, the sequel to _Red_Dwarf_, at the end Cat, Kryten and
Rimmer are collecting those canisters, and they collect number 1121. What's
in it? Rimmer seems to know, but I, and a couple of people I've asked don't
know.

Anybody out there got a better memory than I?

Josh Begay, the panzer jock, in the second book.

It is in the first book. The Sioux-Tank-Rigger Sam drove with from the CFS to
Seattle said it right before he died in the Fire of the feathered serpant
(Hart's Chummer).

Sorry, i dont have the book at hand, and i don't remember the Names.

Did you have to quote the ENTIRE post to write 2 fragging lines? Read the
FAQ. The proscription on flaming contained therein is the only thing keeping
me from saying many obscene things to you. Terry
