looks like I've been saying things that I haven't. What I actually said:
> I think the relevant section of the grimoire says that Masking can be used to
> make the initiate's aura look like:
> 1) that of a mundane's
> 2) that of an ordinary magician
> Ok? And then, on the facing page, it has an illustration which strongly
> suggests that a mage can mask himself as anything from an ordinary joe, to
> a demon, to a flayed skull.
And I then went on to say that although we allowed this disguise-type
Masking, I considered it to be a bad decision. And that we allowed 1
quickening per Initiate level, which I also consider a mistake.
Also, that:
> Well, normally one masking makes the aura appear the same as a Mask spell,
> and there's a masking on the Mask spell to hide it.
and the problem with this is that it makes mages even more **** powerful.
Could people (this means you, Damion :-) use names or abbreviations as
part of the quoting, when you're quoting people who've quoted others,
and start cutting and pasting them all together?
Sheesh, Ivy already thinks that the campaign I play in is non-shadowrun. :-)
