A member of my gaming group is trying to design a shadowrun equilvant to the
classic Catalina PBY. That is fixed wing aircraft that can land on both land
and water. As we understand it the addition of a floatation package to an
aircraft design precludes landing on land. Ideas or suggestions anyone?

Just buy the flotation package and increase the markup for having an
unusual design - the supports and stuff are the same, you just need
waterproof wheels.

(For those expecting a plug for The Shop, I'd mention it again, but I'm
still having problems with my bloody ISP! Argh! At least I have net
access from work so my withdrawal isn't too bad...)

Irregardless of what R2 says, I'd disagree.. I can HONESTLY say that
I have NEVER seen a seaplane that couldn't land on, well, land.. Most
floatation packages have retratable gear that would either swing up next
tothe plane, or fold into the floats.. What kind of plane would this
be? Do you mean a rough reproduction of a Catalina, or basically
something that can land in water LIKE it..
