I just had an inspiration after I picked up a copy of the
"Daredevil" comic. Is there any cyberware/bioware/spell/adept
ability that can simulate a full 360 degree spatial awareness? I
guess it would have the same effect as the ultrasound goggles when it
comes to the image(s).

well, there is the Personal Combat Sense spells/adept ability that implies
this...or perhaps you could have the adept ability of Improved Senses (the
one that you use for getting thermo, mag vision, etc for .25 per enhancement)
that could do this...and there will also be a new adept ability called Sixth
Sense that kinda acts like precognition. Not exactly what you're looking
for, since two of the above are only good in combat/threatening situations.
Also, don't limit this to a "radar" sense...an adept with improved senses of
smell and hearing and a high enough intelligence (perception) should be able
to "mark" or position creatures around him in his head...

I would say, get a VCR (or a specialised variant), and get a bunch of
sensors and cameras, and wulla, there you are!

Cyberware? Unless the apparatus encircled the head, or at least to the
sides of the head, no. Bioware??????? I don't know of any chemical in
the body (or any chemical at all) that would cause you to grow sensing
organs on the back of your head.

As far as spells & powers, it's perfectly reasonable. Design one.

But, do you remember in the last SR novel (I think _Lone Wolf_), the
lead character speculated that the enemy cyber samurai-bitch had some
kind of belt on in the discotheque that gave her 360 degree vision...

That's perfectly logical. However, you might consider that not all of us
out there read the books. I don't have the time. Anyway, I agree that
it's usable, especially since it's in a FA$A publication. But I still
hold to my point that that ability in Bioware just isn't possible.
Unless you want to talk to the UB....
