A few months ago, it was mentioned that SR3 has costs and availablities
for things like radios. Could they send me that data, please?

Give me an address; I'll see what I can do about a copy of the book.

What items are you looking for pricing for?

You got a minor typo in your sig here.

*cracks up* Can you help me out? I've got "Buy 300 dollars worth of
smartass for a school week or donate your comments on SR3 to me..." so far
but can't seem to get the rest of it...=)

Anyway... SR3 is a waste of time and money. Buy the school books --
they'll further your education and (hopefully) allow you to obtain a decent
salary when you become employed full-time. Come back to Shadowrun when you
can afford to (and when it's hopefully not as bad as it is now).

Hate to break it to ya, but I graduated in May, and you know what? I have even
_less_ money to spend on Shadowrun now than I did last year in school. Lots of
new bills and the slight problem with hocking your soul to the gov't to pay for
a good education... But true, buy the books, expect to get about $25 back when
you try to sell them back to the bookstore, and find either the gaming store
run by alumni from your school who let you look at sourcebooks for free or the
gaming store with the sourcebook rack in the deep, poorly lit corner. :-7

Good show.

I got the estimate for books off of the school's site, and just sorta left
the human species for a few hours.

This is not a universal opinion however. Personally I much prefer the new edition
over the older ones. Judging by what's in the used bins over here; I'd say that
holds true for most gamer's in San Francisco.

Actually I meant the schoolbooks. College textbooks become obsolete just about as
fast as computers, and the $90 book you bought that was brand new last year has a new
edition next year, so the book buyers give you $10 for it, if you're lucky.

Argh, don't remind me. It's just another reason to get chummy with
professors. Aside from the extra learning experience, an advisor,
some help in college, and perhaps a few extra "buddy points" here and
there, you can maybe borrow some of those 90-today-10-tomorrow
textbooks off them. OTOH, I tend o keep most of my books...

That's my problem. Inevitably, the books all seem to follow the
principle of the more I want to keep them, the more expensive they are.
My Sacred Tome, the Big Red Stripe Book (Advanced Programming in a UNIX
Environment) cost me over $90 USED! But, I wouldn't give it up for any
amount of money now. Ah well. My days of buying college books are over,
now I just owe the govn't 17k.

Well, the information in SR3 is not for distribution/reprint without FASAs
agreement. So if someone sends you the "Street Gear"-tables, he's
breaking the law. No matter how much money you pay on other book.
